Project Panamá.
I am on the quest to document the contemporary history of the country of my birth, Panamá. My current focus is the development of an archive that documents the events that surround 9 de enero, or Día de los Mártires. When I am feeling rebellious I reflect on the Invasion of Panamá and the subject of revolution in the greater Americas.

SO WHAT MAKES ME QUALIFIED?
Well, school and stuff.
I hold a B.A. from Tufts University, an M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and an M.A. from Columbia University.
And work too.
Academia
I began my professional career as an academic, working eight years for Miami Dade College where I taught courses in English Composition and English Literature.
The Real-world
Now I’m a pen-for-hire and develop written content that sells. Previous employers of mine include PepsiCo, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Hasbro, and Evenflo.
My current gig? I’m the lead Marketing Copywriter for the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.

I love all things art. Give me a polka dot and you’re golden. Yes, that’s a Kusama reference.
Film
I find the experience of going to the movie theater to be thrilling, add popcorn and a slushy that’s an ungodly shade of red, and you’ve got me.
Travel
Left my heart in an Istanbul bazaar, I hope to fetch it soon.

I’ve got the radio going 24/7. I have a little music blog that I post to for kicks.
